Thank you for your interest in Cricket Hunt School. We are a Private developmental, learner centered school in Freeport, Maine. We offer full and half-day programs for preschool children ages 12 months to age-5 and full day programs for Preschool and Kindergarten through grade 2.

As professional educators, we strive to create and maintain an environment that is reflective of the academic and social needs of our learners. Cricket Hunt School is a place where children learn to become independent and self-motivating. We offer the excitement of discovery within the boundaries of a safe and challenging learning environment.

Our practice and philosophy is grounded in the belief that children need space and time to play, explore, use their imaginations, listen to and tell stories, talk to one another and to simply and joyfully celebrate being a child.
